LOL! Never mind... I found this blog that explains how to make string carrots. The picture says it all:

Carrots are carrots... no matter in what shape they come. They are not allowed during Induction.

No, that's not okay. During Induction you should only eat foods from the Acceptable Foods List you can find in your copy of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002). You have the book, right?

Here is a copy of the list: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)

Low carb tortillas have grains in them, so they are only allowed from OWL Rung 9 on.

Two? That means you consumed 10 net carbs from tortillas... which further means most of your net carbs did not come from vegetables. Over half of your net carbs should be from veggies.

I've found that buying meats and other things at Costo (or any bulk food store) saves a ton of money. The price of meat at the regular grocery stores here is atrocious You spend a little more per store visit, when you buy bulk, but boy does it last.

I was eating low carb tortillas a few times a week in the beginning before I knew better - and I was losing pretty slowly, especially given the amount of weight I have to lose. I cut those out when I figured out I shouldn't be having them, and my weight loss speeded up almost immediately. Also cut out aspartame items (equal) that I was getting in diet jello from a box and the occasional glass of crystal light mix. That helped too.

Just a heads up.
