Default Faux Ramen

My family was all having Ramen last night and I was feeling a bit left out so I concocted my own 'faux ramen'. It was pretty good!

2 cups water (if you want more, just make sure you adjust your seasonings for it)
2 tsp chicken bouillon
pinch parsley
few dashes of onion powder
few dashes of garlic powder
dash of pepper
1 small zucchini

Mix water and seasonings and heat on the stove. While you are letting it heat up, use a potato peeler to make skinny 'noodle's from the zucchini. Once the water and seasonings have heated to a boil, add the zucchini. Cook just until the zucchini is tender (don't over cook because the zucchini will turn to mush). Adjust the seasonings to your tast. You could also add chopped up cooked chicken and some celery to this for a great chicken soup!

Another idea of noodles is an "egg" noodle. Beat one egg, add a pinch of salt and pepper (I put a pinch of garlic powder). Then butter a microwave safe plate. Pour the beaten egg onto the plate---it should cover it thinly but not too thinly. Microwave it on high for 1-2 minutes or until the egg is completely cooked. Remove the plate from the microwave. Peel off the egg. Then roll it like a jelly roll and slice across for the noodles.

That soup sounds yummy, and just in time. I have been watching my fiance and kids eat ramon and i am tired of mopping up the drool. Both the zucchini and the egg sound like good ideas, i will have to try them both out. I might add some hot sauce or jalapinos though because i like mine spicy.
