Is it possible to successfully do Atkins without having a gallbladder to process all the fat? About 5 years ago, I lost 30 lbs. on Atkins and about a year after that I had to have my gallbladder removed. Since then, I have regained the weight and have struggled trying to stay on Atkins. I'm so confused. Dr. told me to do a low fat diet after surgery. I gained weight while doing weight watchers. My biggest problem now is having constant diahhrea right after eating. I am TTC #1 and am concerned since I have the diahhrea right after I eat, that my body is not getting any nutrition.
I came back to Atkins 4 days ago and once again am finding it hard to process all the fat. Don't know what to do. Any suggestions on an eating plan that will help me lose the weight? I have PCOS and it is almost like the low carb WOE is the ONLY way that I actually lose weight. I am currently exercising 6 days a week....any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kim
