  • Are Advantage (Atkins) Bars safe for Induction?

I bought a box of ADVANTAGE bars . Can I have one of these every 3-4 days if Im on Induction. IT takes care of the sweet craving. Also the label says 21g of Carbs, hoever the label also says "COUNT 2 GRAMS OF CARBS IF DOING ATKINS". HOw can there such a difference?

    Thoughts?

No: they are not on the list of induction legal foods.

They contain sugar alcohols which are a problem for many, even later.

The sweet tooth is best curbed early. Grin and bear it.

Your pallet will change if you work at it.

I take only the bitterest chocholate these days - Lindt 70% Cocoa solids - and think it's sweet. There is a place down the road we go to eat - I usually have steak and salad - but I don't eat the cherry tomatoes still on the vine - I find them too sweet.

Hang on in there, and I promise you it will pay rapid returns.
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
    he said, 'Don't count calories.'
