Re: Buddy/Ignore lists
the buddy list will tell you if the person on your buddy list is online at ADBB when you check it so you could invirte them to chat with you or anything else y'all could think of to do.
The ignore is well sort of self explanatory. you shouldn't see them on.by the book atkinseer

Re: Buddy/Ignore lists
i thought it had to do with not wanting to get pm's. i actually thought that if i put someones name in the ignore column, that i would not be able to get a pm from them. does anyone know if that is true or not?

Re: Buddy/Ignore lists
Well then the buddy list is just a waste of time, all I have to do is scroll to the bottom of the page or even on the right hand side of the Portal page and see a list of who's online, seems kinda pointless to make a list.
Now the ignore...does that mean that if I put someone on the ignore list that I will not even have to view the fact that they made a post?

Re: Buddy/Ignore lists
May I suggest someone try it out and see what happens?
... I'm not gonna volunteer coz I don't cherish the thought of being ignored...

Re: Buddy/Ignore lists
Yes! I use to be on another board that used that function. They can make a post and if they're on your ignore list you won't see their post at all. I believe that you'll know that they posted but you can't read it unless you remove them from the ignore list.Originally posted by MotherOfGizmoWell then the buddy list is just a waste of time, all I have to do is scroll to the bottom of the page or even on the right hand side of the Portal page and see a list of who's online, seems kinda pointless to make a list.

So, if someone's getting on your last nerve ....... you can make them practically disapear! Poof!

Re: Buddy/Ignore lists
Really P-bird????????????
Oh wow, that's such a cool feature, because there are some people on this board that I would just love to ignore because if I keep reading their posts everyday I'll end up with a hernia or a busted blood vessel.
Thanks for the feedback P-bird.
(PS. you're not one of these people that I wanna ignore)
