Lookie what I bought today - No/low carb shopping!

Ok, I'm a FREAK! I take pictures of my food now and my groceries... ha ha ha! To share with all of you of course! I haven't tasted any of these yet but will post here when I do. The pudding says serve cold so I'm waiting until tonight.

Stallone's Pudding was buy a 4 pack for $7.99 and get one for half price at Vitamin World in the mall... so that's $1.50 a can. (Netrition has them for $1.59 a can and I guess they charge shipping too but I'm not sure.)



I've tried the 1 carb ketchup but this one below is no carbs. All these were about $3.29 each jar at Publix supermarket.




Flaxseed meal was about $4. at the health food store. (Will I ever eat a whole pound???)

I highly recommend getting whole flax seeds next time and grinding them yourself. Flax meal has almost no shelf life.

Keep it in the fridge and in a sealed container - that helps!

I keep my flaxmeal in the freezer and it's been fine. I go through 2 or 3 lbs a year. It's nice to find sugar-free things, isn't it?

Yea, my flax meal is in the freezer and I've had no problems with it going bad!

Do you like those Walden Farms products? All the ones I've tried tasted like colored water.

I tried the pudding last night and it was good! It could have been sweeter for my taste. I ended up putting 2 Tablespoons of the flaxseed meal on the pudding last night and had a wooooooooshhhhhhhhhieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this morning that came on SUDDEN! I think I'll post a warning about flaxseed. Thank goodness I was at home!

Aww MOG, I haven't tried the Walden Farms stuff but if they taste like colored water I'll be disappointed and have to oomf them up with spices or something!

I just can't figure out what they put in those things so that they can be zero carb zero calorie....doesn't that sound just a little too good to be true to you? I know some people like them..don't worry, you may be one of them!

Everyone is saying that flaxseed meal doesn't do THAT to them so it could have been the pudding. Both of which I had for the first time last night and together too.

Check out this label... Are there sugar alcohols? If so, tell me how to spot them ok! Mine is the milk chocolate one on top. Is it sucralose? (ends in ose)?

Oh and Sucralose is not a sugar alcohol...that is what Splenda is made from.

I've tried Walden Farms products and found them to be decent. I guess it really depends how desperate you are for some of these products. I've used the seafood sauce, BBQ sauce, salad dressing, and liked them. Of course they aren't as good as regular products but for 0 calories and 0 carbs, I think Walden Farms puts out a decent product.

The ketchup is ICKY, yuck! If they had called it some other name it would be ok but it doesn't taste like ketchup just some kind of sauce. The BBQ sauce is the best of the three. I tasted the chocolate on my finger but haven't found a use for it yet.
