  • Diverting Cravings

Tonight is night 10 of induction, and after a quick trip to the grocery…my cravings were going wild.

Until tonight, I’ve had no urges at all…but I wanted sooooo desperately to dive into a bag of cookies. Then it hit me—I took my shopping bags into the bedroom and hopped on the scale with them, shuffling them till I equaled the weight I started at 10 days ago.

WOW—funny how holding ten pounds of groceries makes you realize how melting away that amount is encouraging. The cravings were gone immediately and I was excited about eating a healthy low-carb dinner!

It was a bit of a dirty head trick, but I was very encouraged.

Hehehe. That's hillarious... and awesome. Congrats on smackin' down the cravings and on the 10lbs lost!

Ha Great Success story! And 10 lbs is a major success - keep it going like you did in that moment of truth.
This time I am down 14 lbs, aka one English stone as Alexa and others say in UK, and 70+ lbs. total. That's a sack of canned goods and then a pretty good shopping cart load. Wow. Now that's a LOT of pa-ta-tas!
