  • Listen to the pros!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post my past weeks experiences to show you that the vets/pros and the book really do know what their talking about. It really pays to do this WOL correctly.

This week I finally made it through the first week of Induction clean and correctly!!! I have had NO cravings. I've learned a lot through this first week or induction. What did I learn? LISTEN TO THE PROS!!!!!! You guys really know what you're talking about. These last four months I've been tweeking atkins to my likeing, etc. which isn't really atkins anyways. Sure I lost 20 lbs. in the last 4 months but this time around I took a menu my mom gave me (she's an Atkins vet) and my book and all the advise from everyone here and the weight just started to POUR off!!! I've lost 7 lbs. in 7 days. I lose weight pretty easily but never this fast AND I was dealing with TOM all week yet still losing. Awesome!

So what else did I learn this past week? Oh! Cheese and cream are stallers for me! Well not really stallers. They do slow me down. When I was eating quiche as a staple of my diet (cheese and cream) I was losing very slowly. Maybe a pound a week, sometimes 2 but that's rare. This time around I cut out cream all together (I don't drink coffee) and I only eat 3 oz. of swiss cheese a day. And again the weight is coming off!

Now I know it won't be this fast next week, etc. but I've got 1 more week of Induction and I'm super excited to move on to OWL. I've been scared all this time but I miss strawberries darn it and summers almost over, that would figure. HAHA! I'm totally prepared to start losing weight slower as long as I don't stop right?

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about the loss. I only wish I hadn't spent the last 4 months tweaking the diet....Sheesh.
