  • C25k question...

I posted this in Exercise forum, but I don't see a lot of traffic there, so I thought I'd post here...

I've seen the C25k program, but when you do this, do you wear a stopwatch so you know 60 sec jogging/90 sec walking intervals?
Do you consistently bring the speed up/down, and time it all out?

It seems like a lot of work to constantly change your speed and then watch the # seconds before you need to change it again (walk vs. run), but I'd like some thoughts on it!

    Re: C25k question...

I bought a cheap digital watch with a stopwatch feature, i think it was about $10 and used that. the amount of time just keeps adding up, i didn't stop it or anything... ie: if i started walking for 1 minute, walk till it hit 60 secs, then would run until it hit 1 min 30 secs, then run until it was 2 mins 30 secs etc (that example would be 1 min walk 30 secs run), then run until 3 mins and so on.

    hope this makes sense?
