Is using Atkins Advantage products a bad thing during induction?
Hello! Just starting induction and on Atkins Advantage products it states they can be used on phase one. How about Carbquick? I have used the carbquick and love it. I am hopeful this program works for me!!

Most people I think suggest that you avoid the prepackaged foods. For some it is because Atkins is a lifestyle change program not a "diet" and if you don't learn new eating habits, the weight will just come back. Some of the products also have a lot more carbs than is allowed or have sweeteners that aren't allowed.
All that being said, when I am in a hurry I do grab a chocolate Atkins drink for breakfast.
Just look at the ingredients. If they fit with Atkins, try it out and see if it works for you. Alex

They are not BAD, but trust me - you do NOT want to start using them. Will use more and more till you possibly start cheating on other foods. I remember I had that period too, when you wanna try out everything that's NOT in the Induction list, but isn't harmful either. So I posted similar question and tried deciding which Atkins bars/shakes I could snack on. It's so not worth it. I never ate a single Atkins Advantages product and don't regret it at all. Drink more water, do some push-ups instead of those extra products. Thumbs up!
