I feel great. :icondance It's only day 4, but I have so much energy and I feel much better. I feel more awake and attentive now. It's day 4 and I feel wonderful. Thanks to the In-n-Out protien burgers, yummy! :geek If you haven't had one, I highly recommend it. It's fabulous. You can get a regular cheeseburger, or a double double, protien style! And they both only have 7g of carbs. :yes If you remove the tomato and the onion it's less carbs. But they are FABULOUS! Besides the fact that their food is real. But i'm doing great, and if you ever need tips or help feel free to let me know, i'll try my best to help you out. I've done it before this is my second time on board and I feel like i'm going to accomplish my goals!

I would also like to say that I really enjoy this board. The best one i've ever joined! :yes Thanks for all of your support and I hope it continues to come through my journey! I enjoy making friends :hug

DON'T remove the tomato! Tomatoes are acceptable for Induction and are jammed packed with valuable fiber and nutrients that promote good health. Plus eating that tomato along with the fats and proteins is exactly what Dr. Atkins wanted us to do.

It's probably easier if just you ask about the particular foods you're concerned about, Candice.
Basically, if it ain't on the list, and you aren't on that rung, you don't eat it. :nod

Hey Everyone! I have lost five pounds! :joy And i'm feeling great.

I feel that I should share this story:
It's about a challenge I had yesterday and how i'm so proud of myself.

I work at the great Starbucks, the place full of carbs and fats. I was working yesterday and I had to clean the pastrie case(were most the carbs hide) and we have these awesome pastries. However, there's a pastrie called the Penut Butter Stack. It's fabulous, let me tell you. I swear I stared at it for 10 minutes debating in my head, should I eat it or not. :yikes I was going insane :anger I was thinking oh just one bite wont do anything at all. But I came to the conclusion that food is not going to controll me. I'm going to control what I eat and everything. So I overcame a craving :joy for the first time in my life :joy (i swear, i'm dead serious)! I've been overweight for so long it's time for me to change it.
So I thought that I would share my story with everyone. We all have challenges and sometimes it's hard to overcome them. This diet is hard, you're changing the way you eat after years of eating one way. It's different, but in the long run it's worth it!!!!! So all of you that are struggling, keep trying, it will get easier. They say the hardest is the first week or 2.

I want to encourage everyone to stay on it, exspecially if your like me. And have been overweight pretty much my entire life. And I have diabeties in my family. So this is something that I need to do. For myself. That's another thing. If you're doing this diet, do it for yourself, no one else. And make sure you read up on it as much as possible!

I'll try to post my own challenges every other day or so. If your interested, I feel it helps people know that other people feel the same too.
