  • Strange ...losing 1lbs a day !!

    HI
    17th day of induction,
    first week lost just 1-2 lbs,
    second week 2-3 lbs totally
    in the third week I am losing 1 lbs a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (the funny thing is according to fitday I take 800-900 cal /day, but according to my weight /height , I need at least 2000 cal/day for sedentary life!!!!!!

    I dont have appetitie,,,,,,but I dont feel weak or tired,,,,,,actually I have more energy,,my lovehandles are 80% gone,,,,, my baby is delivered (I am a guy ! so kinda semi flat ab), and I can wear the jeans i couldnt ,easily,,,

    I feel ok, (daily carb is ,10 gr), just wonder this 1lbs /day (which i love it ) , is it ok, or not ,or ? (my only pitfall that I cant do anything about it is caffeine, I take 2-3 coffee/day, + hydroxycut hardcore pills ,6 pills a day (max dose, its caffeine is equal to 7 coffees/day) , so practically I am taking 9-10 cups of coffee /day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    (this hydroxycut helped me somehow in the past, lost 6 lbs in 3 days!!!) , and I paid few hundred bucks to get stash for a few month, now dont want to waste it !!!! (as their expiring is kinda close,,hehe, me stingy boy),
    anyways,

    I feel good, full of energy, lost appetite, lots of caffeine, otherwise follow atkins religously, lots of callorie defecit.............

    any ideas ???

    I have been loosing arouns .5 to 1lbs a day. I have been on a month. But...today I weighed myself and have gained 5 pounds. So somthing I did was no too good. I have to figure it out. Just watch your intake all the time!

      You are right, I lost just one pound during the last 3 days!, and my ketostix was much much lighter, then I recalled the two spoonful of curry paste I put on my fish , with mayonnaise, in the stove,,,,,,,,,,those paste had some sugar, although the label mentioned low, but there is no other reason for my ketostix,,,,,,,,it is really important to be careful about your food,,,,,,,,,

        Not to burst your bubble but 800 calories perday and 10carbs isn't enough food. Your body will kick into starvation mode. Many people also find that when they keep their carbs that low they have a hard time ever moving up and the end result is a screwed up metabolism in a different way. Which means when you get to OWL it may be much more challenging AND it will effect your ability to maintain over hte long term.

        I'm going to avoid even going into the metabolite since it's full of nasty stuff for your body. and you know that already. Do you want to be healthier or just see a different number on the scale? I can tell you from personal experience that after loosing over 100lbs years ago and watching the pendulum of eating problems swing the other way...the grass isn't always greener on the other side

          Hi,
          thanks for reply, I feel the same about not getting enough calorie, actually I am more worried ( it reminds me of two close relatives with endstage cancer that started as half obstruction of the bowel,,,,,so, in two months they became falt abs dude, but after that they went down the hill.........as their body was not getting enough nutrient,,,,,,also their brain...............)


          anyways,,,,,,,,,,the point is "I DON'T FEEL HUNGRY" !!!!! if I eat 1500 cal, it means I am eating forcibly......................


          what about you guys, do you also have lots of calorie deficit???? when it comes to calculation ? and how do you feel about it ?

            I went through the same thing with the atkins diet in the begining. I played the game for awhile and enjoyed the weight loss. But then I got really sick b/c it taxed my immune system so much. After getting over that I stalled out for the weeks and then got my head in gear for reality. I know you said you feel great - but your body can't hold out like that.

            the experience reminded me of my twin pregnancy. I followed a super high proten based diet with minimal carbs (The research of Luke and Noble). Daily protien was 172grams per day and I kept a chart to get it all in because there was no making up for it afetr 5pm - I HAD to space it out and be meticulous. I had to force myself to eat it. These two docs had tremendous success in helping moms cary healthy multiples to term (37-40wks). That's what I wanted. I caried my girls to 39weeks. they were 7lbs 6oz and 7lbs 4oz and we were at home immediately as they were perfectly healthy. I gained an ideal "textbook" amount of weight, had perfect blood pressure and no insulin issues or swelling through the pregnancy. I also droped my pregnancy weight with ZERO effort (unlike my first pregnancy) People will say to me "Oh, you were lucky" Luck had little to do with it. It was solid nutrition!

            While it's feel wrong to "force" yourself to eat. Mentally you already "know" that 800/900 calories isn't going tot cut it over the long haul. Your body needs more. I went through the extreme appetite surpression as well. try looking at the veggie list and coming up with some new things to try. Or look at some new protiens to eat, or explore the world of cheese a little. You need to be eating your veg. and creativity will help you move forward. When you get bored with this WOE it's almost always b/c as human we fall into the rut of doing the same thing day and day out.


            From my experience on the boards, most people do struggle with eating enough and lack of hunger at some point.
