  • question about CINNAMON

hello! I was reading an old post that people were talking about how cinnamon helps insulin resistance and also has helped some people with cravings...

my first question - since, from what i've read, since cinnamon helps stabalize blood sugar - is it safe to take a cinnamon supplement if i'm also on Metformin? I am taking 2000 mg metformin/day (2 - 500 mg pills at lunch and then at dinner)...

i really appreciate all responses!! thanks!!!

    Re: question about CINNAMON

I am not familiar with the drug you are taking but wanted to tell you I take cinnamon capsules everyday. There is alot of good info on the net about how it can lower blood sugar. Also, my stepfather takes it as directed by his physician because of diabetes. I also know another lady who swears cinnamon was responsible for her sudden weight loss. Its quite cheap too!
