Hello,
There seems to be a few conflicting information about this, my question is: Can the human body store fat while in ketosis? A basic Yes or No answer is what I'm after. On the one hand, there are arguments that if u sit in bed and eat 10 kg of butter, ur body will go into ketosis (because ure not eating glucose) but due to the fact that you have eaten a lot more fat that what is needed for energy, some of the fat will be stored, causing weight gain. Another argument states that due to lack of insulin, the body cannot store fat. Any medical experts who can answer this question with certainty?
If it is the former, then wouldn't this defy the very theory of Atkins of 'eat as much fat as u want and still lose weight'???
