  • Atkins for Lent

    Hi everyone. I returned to Atkins on Ash Wednesday. I lost a bunch on it once before but let the carb monsters back into my diet and ballooned back to my old habits. This time I am determined to succeed in changing my diet for the better. I have a long way to go. I am glad I found this forum this time. So many people tell you that this is not the way to go about dieting, but the carb cravings get to me on other diet plans. Wish me luck for sticking in out after Lent is over.

    Push-ups: 450/800
    Abs: 850/1900
    Squats: 650/1200
    Lunges: 500/1000
    Strength: 490/1200
    Running: 50/100 km

      Hi You can do it! Promise yourself. Then honor the promise! Check out all the forums and join a challenge or two. Find a roll call to hold yourself accountable to. And enjoy!!!!

        Welcome to the board mamaati! I'm glad you found us. You will find loads of support here to carry you through for the rest of your life because this place is terrific! Read as much as you can because there is good advice all over the board.

          Thanks for all of your support. Getting to the last week of Lent and still on track. I slipped a couple of time but got right back on board. I have lost 12lbs so far. Hopefully I can keep it up.

            Congrats on the 12 lb. loss! That's great! Is the diet easier now that you're through the first few weeks?

            Don't worry about a few minor slipups, as long as you get right back on plan.
