    Good Morning STACers!

    I guess I'm not the only one who did it up last night. We are off to a late start. No losses to report this morning despite a heavy dose of michelob therapy. No gains to report either though. Should be easy to get my water in today because I have a hangover that would kill a mere mortal. I hope everyone else has a great day!

    LOL - it was the Jameson's that did me in! I've been at work for a couple hours, but had to convince my eyes and fingers to start working together so i could type. I've probably had over a gallon of water and haven't had to pee... hmm, might've drank too much! My scale reports a loss of 5 pounds, but I know it's only because my cells must look like crinkly raisins at this point.
    Hope everyone had a safe and fun evening! Now back to real life...

        You know..I almost forgot about coming here today...Because this is becoming a life style and not a "diet" I just know what I can and cannot eat and I do it.. Wish Sunday woulld come for a weigh in day

          I was so good yesterday. Before Induction, Hubs and I used to have a drink or so a night. I haven't had a drop of alcohol since starting Atkins, and I'm really not craving it. I'm sure I will eventually, but thankfully Shamrock Day went off without incident.

            I'm down .5 pounds since monday...but I don't "own it" till my official weigh in day which isn't till next monday...so I'll keep watching.

            Struggling with emotions this morning...saw the date and it hit me like a ton of bricks as today would have been my due date for the baby I lost several months ago. Thought I was ok...but apparently not. Trying to hold it together at work...probably doesn't help that I started TOM today (sorry for the guys on the roll call, but it's a part of life, ya know?)...so not only extra emotional but also feel like crud.

            TOM could reasonably explain my energy issues over the last couple days...but just in case my original hypothesis is correct, I ate cauliflower for breakfast.

            Still rockin the ketosis even though I upped the veggie intake the last couple days.

            Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

              Day 3 on induction. So far so good on being clean. I haven't hopped on the scale yet but my pants feel a bit looser.

                for Sandy...I love that ephany! You'll have a great week for sure!

                No dark ale for this house...although I was rather tempted by DH when he offered to head to the local store to buy some. We just enjoyed the dinner without it...maybe next year, but defintely in June!

                  Morning everyone!

                  I didn't have a chance to check in yesterday - so busy at work! Didn't get home until 8m and then I just wanted to vege on the sofa and watch the hockey game (our team kicked but - yay!!).

                  So let me tell you about yesterday...
                  Last weekend I went shopping and bought this nice grey sweater - I wanted to wear it yesterday and the perfect pair of pants was hanging in my closet. The last time I'd worn the pants (about a 1.5 weeks prior) they were baggy - it was my intention to take them to the tailor and have them taken in (great slacks - want to get more out of them!) but just hadn't gotten around to it (my weekends are pretty packed what with starting my business!). But when I put them on yesterday morning and did them up... they slipped down to my hips!! I really wanted to wear my new sweater so I belted the babies up only to discover that I need a new hole in my belt I also discovered that because my butt was no longer holding the pants up, I needed to wear heals to keep the hems from dragging I wore the pants/belt anyway... and by the end of the day I was tired (in the happiest way possible, as you may be able to imagine) of hicking my pants up and tucking them evenly under my belt & around my waist!!

                  I love this WOE!!

                  Hubby is pretty happy with the results so far too

                  I deviated a little from plan this morning, although I don't believe it's a full out cheat. I was in a hurry to get out the door so didn't have breaky at home. Once I got to work I hit the salad bar and grabbed 2 hard boiled eggs, about 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and a 2" square piece of watermellon. Thoughts?? I'm not too worried because the carb count for these items isn't high - and I'm confident that they won't cause cravings.

                  Anyway

                  Becki - **hugs!!** I completely understand how you're feeling! Been there!! Embrace your sad thoughts because they're totally legitimate & work to think positive thoughts all while remembering that your TOM hormones play a huge role in your overall emotional state. In other words - a little mind over hormones!
                  Sounds like you're doing really well!! Keep it up!!

                    Corned beef and cabbage was awesome last night...I'm up a pound but that doesn't worry me. Tomorrow is weigh in for Biggest Loser and my goal is to be another 1-2 down from last week. I think I will be.

                        Hey STACrs! I kept my beer intake to 3 and was down a lb this morning so I was happy to see that. I think I have gotten used to my routine of eating a certin way and I need to step it up. I really want to become a runner (I hate running) so I am setting the goal for myself to try to run every day...even if it is just for 20 mins...I must run! Hopefully I see some more losses before my trip to Maui in the beginning of April and for my bday at the end of April.

                          Hey all. I couldn't check in this morning, I was running late for work. I hate that. Anyway, I weighed today and I'm down another pound for a total of ten so far. I was hoping for more than that, but I'll take what I can get at this point. I had stuffed peppers for dinner last night and they were SO good. I'll definitely be making those again soon! Hope everyone had a good day!

                            Just a quick check in between laundry and dishes. Still on plan...nothing new. Hope everyone had a great Wednesday. Looking forward to a warm sunny weekend....and dreading trying to start the lawn mower for the first time this year.
