    Lunch - big scoop tuna salad on 2 cups of lettuce, 1 oz cheddar cheese with 2 packets of McCain's creamy italian

    Dinner - 2 stalks of celery each with 1 oz cream cheese and 1 grilled chicken breast with hot sauce.

    What does the broccoli cauliflower salad have in it to provide fat and protein to keep the veggie carbs from spiking your blood sugar? You need to have fat and protein with all veggies and other carbs.

    The rest of the day sounds okay.
    People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

      It has mayo, a little cheddar cheese and bacon. Would that do it?

        2 slices of bacon only has 4 grams of protein and an ounce of cheddar only has 7 grams of protein, so that is probably not enough protein first thing in the morning. I noticed on another thread that you are tired--not enough protein in the absence of carbs for energy can make you feel drained. You need to have a couple of ounces of meat or a boiled egg with the veggie salad--something with a little more protein.
