    Good morning, everyone!! I got REST last night! I feel really good. Going to jump on the scale in a little while. Had a loss yesterday but wasn't ready to claim it yet. I'm hoping the scale has good birthday news for me! I need it from the scale because my entire family has left town for spring break!! The steak a day kick I've been on seems to be working. The sale on t-bones ends today so I've been stocking up. I bought 10 yesterday!! I really wanted to be in ONEderland by my birthday and I'm sooooooooo glad I am. I look good again and feel I'm able to defend the higher number a birthday brings!!!

    Hey, it's been said that a good night's sleep promotes healthy metabolism so hopefully your scale and the whooshie fairy will take that into account and deliver on the good birthday news for you!

    Enjoy your steaks, I'm sure you'll "look good again" soon and may you attain grace, confident and stength with the higher number a birthday brings!!!

      Happy Birthday Ever! No whooshie for me but I am down a pound (my body has been waffling about giving this pound to me for a couple of days now.) Have a great Tuesday everyone!

          Yeah, steak does work... I ate steak yesterday and I lost 2 lbs. when I woke up this morning so I"m thrilled about that!!

          I hope everyone has a great day - I'm off to go work a 14 hr. shift! (yikes)

            Happy Birthday

            Good morning everyone, I went to bed so early lastnight (9pm). I feel so refreshed. The funny thing i have noticed on atkins, is that my stomach makes noise now. I havent herd gurgles, or growls in years!!!!I guess i must be doing something right. I am having a great time with my treadmill. I cant believe how much i like walking.
            well off to get the kids up and ready for school. Boy if i could get them to do atkins maybe it wouldnt be a struggle to get them up in the morning

              Happy Birthday Everlosing.. I get on a beef kick sometimes too.. Our store has some beautiful roast on sale yesterday and I want hubby to go and pick a couple more up..Wished I had a big freezer to stock up on things like that...

              I am still on plan... Went to water aerobics yesterday it was nice... Got a job interview yesterday and they asked when I could come in..and believe it or not I scheduled around my water aerobics.. Didn't want to start one day then end up quitting again because of a job interview that I may or may not get the job..

              Doughnuts are GONE...and you know what I didn't even have the desire for them.. It was just on Saturday that I really wanted them.. But by the time they were sitting here I knew they weren't as fresh and yummy as they were on Saturday.. But the kids ate the last one..lol

                I don't know if anyone read the thread yesterday on the flax muffins but I made one for supper last night and made an egg mcmuffin out of it. I can sure tell this morning that I have FOUR TBSPs of flax sitting in my intestines.

                That recipe certainly has some possibilities. I fried an egg and bacon and put some mayo on the roll. Skipped the cheese but it was really good. Next time, I think I'll butter it and then put it under the broiler to see if it'll get any crisper. It was kind of spongy. Also, someone on the original thread said it would be a good idea to make two small ones instead of the one big one. I agree!!

                  Happy birthday, Everlosing!

                  I am still on re-induction and doing fine. I lost 5 lbs. the first week and haven't weighed myself lately but as of yesterday, I'm down a bra size, which is a big deal for me because that's the last place I lose. So, yay for me!

                    Happy Birthday Everlosing!! Hope it's a great one.

                    I'm officially back on track now, it took about a week to get fully back on board, but no real damage done according to the scales. Hubby grilled chicken breasts last night and they were great. I love spring and cooking on the grill, it makes this WOE so much easier. I did OK on water yesterday, and will hit it hard today. We are supposed to be having rain/thunderstorms this afternoon, so don't know if I'll be able to get in a good walk with Ellie after work or not, but I hope so!!

                        Happy Birthday Ev!

                        I have been flirting with 196 for awhile now, it seems like every other day I see 196.8, but no lower. I think I can give up on that number for awhile, it's just not gonna happen. I started taking creatine yesterday to help with my weigh lifting. It causes water retention, so I will probably be giving up some of my losses. It's all in the name of good health though, so I don't mind so much. I'll probably drop out of Everlosing's group and hang out with Julie, Vickie, and Steady in the slightly over 200 group. It was fun hitting Wonderland the first time, if I have to I'll do it again.

                          Happy Birthday Ever

                          I'm doing well with foods, water and exercise but the scale isnt giving up anymore weight at the moment. I know I'm doing everything right and I have such a long way to go.. I think a few days or even weeks without losing may be difficult but I just need to stay focused and positive!

                          It's usually after a couple weeks of no movement (on the scale or the measuring tape) that I end up cheating or throwing in the towel alltogether - if I can just make it past those rough times, I know I'll do just fine!

                          Everyone is doing so well! Keep up the good work!

                            Happy Birthday, Everlosing!

                            I thought I would check in this morning before going to work. I'll be home late, so I doubt if I'll be able to get on here tonight. I'm still hanging on at 178, but I'm hoping I can start losing again this week. I haven't had any chance to ride my bike for a few days, and I can really tell it. I want to move on to OWL but I'm afraid it will make my weight loss go slower. Right now, I'm only losing 1 to 2 pounds a week, and that's sticking around 20 carbs. I would like to start eating fruits again. Well, everyone have a great low carb day, and enjoy!!

                              Still here, packed my lunch of chix salad, 2 hardboiled eggs and an oz of cheese. On my way to school where I swear no one eats like me! I'm used to the funny looks though! Good Tuesday everyone!
