    Morning all!! Down another pound to 190!! The 180's are getting closer...so is goal and that's such a relief!!

    I finally bought Wii Fit last night! Excited to start that tonight! I've been looking for it since December and am so glad I finally got it! Now I get to monopolize a game system I paid for. My son is going to hate it!!

    Bought tons of legal foods last night so the house is stocked up and am looking forward to hitting my groove again of shedding pounds regularly!! The individually wrapped 1 ounce servings of almonds actually cost LESS than the jar of almonds. Well, that makes it easy!! Enjoyed a ribeye for dinner last night and will have one for breakfast. This WOE is pure torture. Don't know how I'll go on......

      I walked for an hour on the treadmill last night. Over three miles. Felt good and I slept great.

      I hope everyone is doing well. Ev and TJ--how's it going now that you are non smokers???

      One trick that helped me--I kept really strong smelling lotion from Bath and Body with me. When the cravings hit, I'd put some lotion on my hands and then take deep breaths of it until the cravings passed. You look silly but it works.

      I used Sea Island Cotton but it's not too manly, TJ.

        Good Morning Is it Friday yet?...lol I am tired this morning.. We had major thunderstorms last night and it kept me up half the night.. Then I woke up to a major charley horse in my foot and leg not a fun way to wake up..

        I tell you I am not eating...and that isn't a good thing.. I am not hungry either...

        Yesterday for breakfast I had like a 2 ounce piece of steak.. Then around 1 ate two boiled eggs,... Then I forced myself at 4:30 to eat a Hamburger and some broccoli... I am just too busy at work to eat...and then I can't settle down to eat...

          Hey Ev, you got in there while I was writing my post. how are you? And where do you find indiv servings of almonds? The only place I can find them is in the convenience store and they are 99 cents for an ounce and a quarter.

            Hey Sandy, you got in there, too!! I have the leg cramps a lot. I think it has to do with the amount of water that we drink. I take multivitamins so I get my potassium in.

              Blue Diamond brand at WalMart on the junk food aisle!! LOL! They were hiding on the top shelf!

              Doing ok with the non smoker thing! It isn't easy but it'll be worth it. I think my son has developed strep throat. That is certainly motivating!

                Hey Kelly! I think they were under $4 per bag of 10 prepackaged servings!! I thought there must be some mistake so I picked up 2 bags! I love almonds...way too much! The portion control will really help! 3 net carbs per serving.

                  I am down to 196 again. The cheat pounds are really flying off now that I'm back on track. I've been doing sunflower seeds to keep my face busy with the no smoking. 2 carbs per serving and it takes near an hour to eat a serving.

                    You know I did sunflower seeds when I quit smoking, too. They certainly keep you busy and it seems like they have to be about zero sum. I mean you have to burn some kind of calories with all the work it takes to get those tiny little seeds out of that hull. I walked around with a cup to put the hulls in. Looked like someone with their spit cup. LOL!

                      good morning all, this is my first post to the morning roll calls in quite sometime. i'm back to doing low carb after about 5 months off. i had gained all the weight i lost on my previouse attempt back so now i'm back to eating low carb. thought i'd jump in and say hello to everyone and introduce myself to everyone.

                      i just got done with my 1 mile walk. i've been using the "walk away the pounds" dvd. it's kinda nice when it's raining or cold to be able to still get a walk in.

                      well i gotta get a shower before work. hope everyone has a nice day.

                          Good morning everyone.

                          Good for you guys that quit smoking. I quit smoking 10 years ago. You are going to really enjoy being able to breath. One thing that helped me with bad cravings was brushing my teeth. Sounds funny I know but it helped me.

                            I quit smoking almost 3 years ago.. I wish you both all the strength you need to stick to it!! It's tough but Ohhh so worth it!

                            Not feeling great today but on plan.. been fighting off a migraine for two days and I think it's going to win today. *sigh*

                              Morning all! Day three here and a nice little weight loss. I know I shouldn't be weighing myself every day but I find it helps me better track things. If I don't drink a lot of water I might not lose or I might gain, it reminds me to drink more. If I eat more than I should of veggies or sweeteners and I gain or stall for a few days then it reminds me to watch myself better. I like being able to track what works and what doesn't.

                              My goal today is to stick to my planned food, drink 3 big things of water...and only have 2 cups of coffee instead of 3 like yesterday. I also want to continue to avoid, like the plague, the big bowl of chocolates sitting in the office kitchen.
