I am ussually the most skeptical person when it comes to things like this but I have tried it several times and it works very well. It's fairly cheap and contains both green tea extract (no caffeine) and hoodia. I take two when I wake up and it really helps with cravings and appetite. It's helped on portion control alot. Just thought I would share.

Interesting. I have never tried it but it is good to hear someone else's experience with it.

Re: Green tea and hoodia...
i took hoodia once because a friend of my bought it and wanted me to try it with her. so I took one in the AM, and didn't eat again until 9pm that night. so yeah it helps with cravings/appetite, but this isn't a starve yourself kind of diet either.F/24/5'10"

Re: Green tea and hoodia...
When doing Atkins correctly you will get the same benifits as you will find that you get with Hoodia. I still have an unopened bottle of hoodia that I bought a few years back. Never needed it! Atkins works just fine for appetite supresant and portion control.

Re: Green tea and hoodia...
I agree with Sherri. Appetite suppression is a side-effect of Atkins, specifically due to the lypolysis/ketosis. So taking something to cause appetite suppression is really redundant (and a waste of time and money) while on Atkins, because it happens naturally on Atkins.~Megs~

Re: Green tea and hoodia...
Thanks for the replies...just wanted to see what everyone thought about it.
It comes in in one pill that you take twice a day. I take mine both. I have tried the green tea thing and hoodia seperate and found hoodia effective but not as a complete weight loss tool. You absolutely MUST eat small frequent meals and get all your fiber, vitamins, minerals etc in adequate amounts.
I tried this two weeks before atkins to aid in portion control and even if it the placebo effect it's motivating me and I am seeing changes which is helping me not give up. (which won't happen this time at all!!!!)
This is what it looks like:
As far as heart, from what I read both combined at this dosage are fine if you have a good heart. I have not experience negative side effects either time with either product but everyone is different.
Before I started Atkins, I checked just about everything with my dr. and to my suprize for a very obsese (that's what I am considered at 5'4 and almost 250lb) my blood pressure, etc were very good. Even my iron was good even though some other health problems. I believe in some natural remedies, and that everything on earth has a purpose (plants...etc) but I am not a health freak or anything.
Just thought I'd share so other can maybe other that are like me can get some motivation whether it's really working or it's a placebo effect I know I have been feeling satisfied with smaller portions, crave less (def. less sugar and carbs) and just overall have more energy. I am so happy I am finally doing this for myself.

Re: Green tea and hoodia...
I am using Hydroxycut Hoodia:
Bodybuilding.com - Hydroxycut Hoodia
I think it has similar ingredients to your pills...
I'm hoping it will take some of the hunger away so that I don't have to eat every 2-3 hours...
