  • returning after a carb craze for the last 2 years

    I am back....started induction yesterday! So ready for this and I look forward to all the wonderful support found here.
    I did so well the first time I was on program lost 90 lbs and I am sorry to say it is all back. Not discouraged I know this works and I know I feel best when I am on target. Any advice for a returning low carber would be greatly appreciated.

      Check out the Second Time Around Club and my best advice--now you know that you can't lose the weight and go back to eating "normally". That's what got you into trouble in the first place. Make this a permanent lifestyle choice this time around. And be sure to reread the 2002 DANDR book.

        Thank you for the sound advice! My plan is to make this a way of life not a diet. I do honestly feel so much better when I control my carbs. I had some serious medical conditions over the last two years, not an excuse, where I became weak and felt sorry for myself. That was yesterday me......I am on the road to a better and healthy life. Nice people like yourself make this an easier journey and I thank you both for that! Dee
