  • 1st DAY already lost 4lbs... I dont feel hungry yet...

    I know we shouldnt weigh ourselves so soon but this diet is different. Im excited by reading all the success stories and seeing all the before/after pix! I am 42 and by next year feb I want to have at least have loss 70-100lbs. I just want to wear normal clothes and OK I just want to wear clothes that I dont have to go hunting for at the "Plus size" stores or aisles. We all know that were very limited with styles and when we do find something that is adorable its way over my budget.
    Im excited and I cant wait to weigh in tomorrow. woo hoo:

    I am restarting again and after 24 hours, I am down two pounds. It does feel good. Just don't get too discouraged when you don't lose. You cannot lose four pounds every two days!

    Great job, though.

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

          The first day always has the biggest loss... it's a great motivator! After that probably 1 lb per day for a while until you get to the end of induction... I love hopping on the scale and seeing new numbers

            1lb a day is still wonderful!! thanks all Im really looking forward to slimming down. I check on this site before I go to work to be motivated for the day and to keep going! My brother started last week and he was 323 and after one week he lost 18lbs but he was strict and he also does construction. He's now just under 300lbs and he's excited he said its been 7 years since he's been under 300. I never had a problem of working out it was just my eating. Im really excited to be here. woo hoo!!

                    Are you male or female? That matters as to how fast you are going to lose as well...
