What makes atkins so great is I can add those things to my diet. I did lose 6lbs my first week on induction. So maybe its ok then?? im looking forward to making this cheesy brocc dish this week!

      Re: Dairy Allergies

      DAiry is allowed on Atkins.

During Induction, however, the dairy is limited to cream, butter and cheese. Some cheeses contain minimal amounts of lactose, so you might be able to eat them without any problem.

During the On-Going Weight Loss Phase and Pre-Maintenance Phases, you can add other dairy like fresh cheeses (cottage cheese, ricotta, etc.) and some other milk products.
