In extended induction I tried to keep my carbs below 20 and at 5% on the fitday tracker. Now that I'm in OWL 1, my percentages have jumped to 8% on some days. Is that what I should be shooting for, or am I indulging too much? I LOVE my extra cup of veggies. It's such a treat, but I don't want to slow down my weight loss too much either. Is there a guide for what percentage I should be at in OWL rung 1? Thanks for any help.

During Induction, the percentages should be around (I'm underlining that because many people think the numbers are written in blood
) 65-5-30. But as you add more carbs in OWL, the carbohydrate percentage will increase as long as you are eating the same total number of calories. Protein should stay the same during all phases of Atkins: 30%. But as long as you are increasing your carb level, the carbohydrate percentage should go up, while fat should go down.

As long as that 8% does not mean that you are too low on fat and protein (I mean in amounts not in percentages)
