Here an on plan. Sitting exactly at 216 where I was last Friday, I'm hoping I've had my up and all around for this week and tomorrow is my day for a down. I have to say that I am getting a little frustrated at the pace of things. While I realize it took me much longer to put the weight on, I was hoping to have at least the 2 pound per week loss that I've always experienced in the past and am starting to wonder if Atkins is really going to work for me long term. I honestly think I was loosing faster in my previous attempts when I would throw a couple of 6 packs of Michelob Ultra Lite in each week. I have not had 1 cheat in nearly 5 weeks and my mind is starting to play games with me saying stuff like, well maybe if you carb up for a day or two it will jump start things again. But I know how that goes, and if I give in to that voice you most likely won't see me around again for another year and ten or more pounds up.
Even though I'm officially on Rung 2, I haven't really upped my daily carb level much. Most days I stay right around 20 and use the rungs for an occasional treat. I have to tell that stupid voice inside my head to shut up and leave me alone, I'm comfortable on the journey and no reason to jump ship now.
