  • AHA! Woosh!

    I just noticed a pattern in my weight loss. Lose 3-5 lbs, hover 1-2lbs up and down for a week or two, lose 3-5 lbs and so on.

    Now that I recognized it, I can get used to it. Yay!

    1: Under 300 lbs by 10/31/09 MET!!
    2: At/under 265 by mom's 84th b-day 3/26/10
    3: At/under 225 by 11th wedding anniv. 8/14/10
    4: At/under 195 by Christmas 2010
    5: At/under 160 by mom's 85th b-day 3/26/11

    Yep, that is one of the dangers of being an every day scale weigher or letting it rule your life or happiness. I did the same thing, and eventually just had to settle that was just how it was going to be. No steady losses, but big losses with periods of nothing. Congrats on the progress!

      yay!! congrats!! I've noticed a pattern in my weight loss also, It seems that i lose 5 pounds every two weeks for over the past two months, almost to the day it'll move, its weird!! but im not complaining. keep up the good work!!

        wooshes are the best! my bf hid my scale from me the other day cuz I check too much...we jus gotta think of this as our WOE and not a diet with a start point and an end point...I think that helps me to stay off the scale sometimes
