    MEDITERANIAN STEAK
    Ingredients - Single serving 8.5 grams of Carbs per serving

    Induction Sensitive


    1- 6 oz tender steak (round steak that has been cooked in the traditional, slow way for a tender meat- I happen to have leftovers)

    ¾ cup Zucchini, sliced (3.5g carbs)

    ¼ cup Feta Cheese, drained and crumbled (0.8g carbs)
    or cheddar---adjust carbs

    4 Mushrooms, medium size, sliced (3g net carbs)

    3 - ¼ inch thick slices
    Tomato, chopped(2g carbs)safe for indctn if not stalled


    1 tsp. Butter
    2TBS Olive oil
    ¼ tsp Basil
    Big Pinch Garlic Powder
    Big Pinch Black ground Pepper
    Big Pinch Celery seed/ or salt

    In a non stick skillet, mix Olive Oil, melted butter, basil, garlic powder, pepper, and celery seed/salt together. Heat mixture to a light sizzle, and add zucchini slices and mushrooms. Fry on medium heat until veggies are cooked. Add chopped tomato. At this point, you will need to turn heat up slightly to reduce liquid - about 7 to 8 minutes.

    Pour over separately heated steak. Top with cheese. Makes a great "saucy" topping, very flavourful! Serve with Ice cold water.
