Still here but took a week off from weights because of my damaged neck. Going to set a more realistic goal for the New Year - likely to be closer to 350/400 minutes for the month. Do post at the end how you got on with this December strength challengeAs we seem to have had fun in this thread, I'll do a new one each month.
If I were to do an upper + lower split on 2 consecutive days and repeat later in the week, should I do upper or lower first? I'm kind of inclined to do lower on the first day so my arms don't get too tired for the second session.

Killashandra~ Sorry about your neck! I'd love to do another challenge with you! I love talking about this kind of stuff.. If you build it, I will come, LOL Field of dreams, gotta love it. I think that if you want to do Lower first, then upper it would be great. Well, Like this..
monday: lower body
Tuesday: upper body
Wednesday: rest from heavy weight, or a lighter weight circuit style whole body or just cardio or just off. Lifting consecutively the same body part is ok, as long as its not followed back to back with heavy weights. I normally do heavy upper, light full body, heavy lower, fast pace full body with light weight. I only workout Monday - Thursday.
Thursday lower body
Friday: upper body

I am so happy that tomorrow is Monday and that the gym will be open! I find that I am truly happy when I am at the gym. I love it. I feel strong, confident and able! Tomorrow is going to be my UBWO day!
