I am soooooooooooooooo thrilled. I just tried on all the clothes that I used to wear when i had lost my other weight. and they are now lay on the bed pants .... lmao you all know the kind. the ones that you jump around in to get over your hefty thighs THINKING you will still be able to zip them up and then decide you have to see if you can JUST get them zipped so you lay on the bed and look like you are fighting a monster trying to get that little metal tab over all them teeth on the zipper. and when you finally do achieve your goal and get the zipper zipped. you lay there so proud of yourself and then you ...............................................YEL L YOU FOOL HEAD OFF BECAUSE YOU CANT GET OFF THE BED????????????????????

Only to find out that when someone does come to your rescue that you cant walk. and that you have this huge bulge over your waist band, so you just have to see how they look so you put a pretty top on and stand in front of the mirror admiring yourself even though you can see that flab shadow because your shirt is just a smidgen too small but who the heck cares you got the pants zipped.....

Finally after all the admiration is all gone you decide your stomach is going to break through that zipper you undo the button OMG WHAT A RELIEF.......... and slowly ,, you pull the zipper down.. and VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM it all comes shooting out of your pants. and you wonder to yourself how the heck you ever fit all that in there...

You slowly slip your thumbs into the waist band and start to work them special pants down over hips that want out NOW.... only to find you have to .............................................yelll llllllllllllll....

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP I CANT GET THEM OFF NOW..... HEHE


Well anyway to make a short story very long I got those kind of pants on today and am soooooooooooooooooooooooo thrilled... now i cant wait to actually be able to put them on and take them off by myself.....

Since most of my weight is in my stomach, I was only brave enough to buy the elastic waists. Oddly, I'm looking forward to trying to zip up pants.

Ah Christie! They joy of fitting in smaller pants, thinking that spray painting them on would be easier. BUT no. Spray painting them on doesn't tell you that you are losing weight and able to get into smaller sizes. Congrats.............That is exciting. Pretty soon you'll be able to tell us that you actually wore them somewhere and that they are getting loose. YEAH!!!!!

Falling Pants
Last Tuesday, I had to present a quest speaker and later give a speech for about 70 people. I'm now fitting into an aqua blouse so decided to wear teal pants. I didn't realize that the elastic had worn out AND how much weight I'd lost. I can't tell you how distracting it is to keep having to hold your elbows to your side to keep your pants up . They said my speech was informative and hysterical - one even suggested I look into doing standup comedy. Little did they know...
Later, At Home
When I got home, I was telling my husband about my loose pants as I walked up the stairs and my pants fell to my knees. After DH stopped laughing, he insisted he could take the pants in. He considers the sewing machine another electric tool. So today I wore the teal pants. The good news, they stayed up. The bad news, he didn't fix the elastic, he just sewed an 1 1/2 seam down each side leaving a big painful ball of fabric at each side . He was afraid to cut the extra fabric... I'm hoping he won't notice when these pants disappear ... I'm better at computers than sewing machines.

Great stories! I'm currently having the "add another notch to the belt" experience. I've added 3 already, and some of my pants really seem strange - talk about the pleated look!

Late this winter, I picked up a pair of jeans at a factory outlet store. They were 2 waist sizes smaller than what I was currently wearing. I figured they'd be a nice (inexpensive) motivator.

I haven't tried them on lately, but I do occasionally pick them up and give it a shot. I know I'll make it some day soon!

Susky that is such a great attitude to have. One that everyone should have . to believe that you WILL get into them pants and not to believe that it is impossible. good for you : )
