In the book, Dr. Atkins describes your level of metabolic resistance by how much is lost during induction. I am female and lost 8.2#s in induction. I have 35-40# to lose. I think that puts me at a low to average amount of metabolic resistance?? How closely does this follow with how you actually lose weight through Atkins? Meaning, if you have a high level of resistance have you found you lose very slowly throughout the process and vice versa?
