Default Level of Metabolic Resistance Question

In the book, Dr. Atkins describes your level of metabolic resistance by how much is lost during induction. I am female and lost 8.2#s in induction. I have 35-40# to lose. I think that puts me at a low to average amount of metabolic resistance?? How closely does this follow with how you actually lose weight through Atkins? Meaning, if you have a high level of resistance have you found you lose very slowly throughout the process and vice versa?

I am female with low metabolic resistance and I lost my (original) goal of 34 lbs in a little over 2 months. There were other factors, however, ie. I worked out for 3-6 hours/day.

Yes, typically people with "high metabolic resistance" lose weight "slower" than people who do not.

Dr. Atkins wrote that there are factors that can adversely such as medical conditions like diabetes, use of some prescription medications, etc. And metabolic resistance improves when these medical conditions are reversed (or at least improved).

Another thing that improves metabolic resistance is exercise. "Regular exercisers" per Dr. ATkins definition have CCLLS and CCMLs higher then average. And I saw that happen to me while I was a "regular exerciser" during OWL.

According to my induction numbers I have a low resistance but I found that I am a slow loser. I can get down to a certain weight relatively fast after that it is a struggle for the last 10 lbs.
