| Interesting...hm. I don't know about the science behind it but I sure hope it is true. There are low carb yogurts and smoothies available here but they are pricey. Maybe 2big will chime in with some wisdom! On a similiar note, I once noticed that this product labels fat/carb/protein grams didn't equal up to what they claimed the calories were. The calories were WAY too high. I emailed the company to ask about the discrepancy and they said that due to some labeling regulations, they were forced to assign a calorie value to the type of fiber in their product. They said that actually, the digestible calories was about 1/2 of what the label claimed and that they received that question all the time. Curious, huh? The spokesperson said they just fell in a loophole and had to go along with it.

| Can you get unflavoured greek yogurt? The one I use has only 3.2 net carbs per 100 grams (3.5 ounces) making a decent serving for 5 carbs.

| When I use yogurt I tend to use it as a ingredient of a dish rather than eating it on its own. Something like cucumber-mint-yogurt salad or a marinade.

| I've also used the greek yogurt and it's the only plain yogurt I've found that is low carb. I can only find it at Trader Joe's, which is not close. I haven't found it at any regular grocery store. I use it for smoothies and it is great to have around. |

| I love yogurt, The one I get is 8gs of carbs per half cup (which i find a decent serving), You could have a 1/4 cup, with berries when you get to the berry rung (if you're not already there) and that would only be 4gs. when mixed in with berries or fruit it goes pretty far. And it has great health benefits.
