| Hi GitRDone. I think your fright is a reasonable one. I know I was scared that once I had more freedom Id be a raving lunatic and eat everything. (hasnt happened btw). What we are encouraged to do is make record of how we feel when we eat a new food. If we get that ravenous raving lunatic, obviously, we ditch that food. Same thing with any undesireable effects on ourselves. That way, we KNOW what are triggers for us. Like a LOT of people, mine is nuts. I could eat 2 pounds of cashews if left alone with a 2lb jar. So I buy individual baggies from SamsClub and Im allowed to have one a day. thats it. If you keep track of these things, you empower yourself to make it. Its when you start playing loosey goosey and get a lil carb creep happening or dont journal that the poo hits the fan. That first step in Owl is only 5 more carbs of veggies you are already enjoying. Thats not scarey at all! 5 more carbs of radishes, cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts etc etc. I lost 8.5 pounds doinginduction and extended induction. Right now Im at 28 pounds gone. Ive lost 19.5 pounds on OWL. And let me tell ya.... the new Rungs are fun. After that first one.... I was ready for cottage cheese, greek yogurt and now, cashews, peanut butter etc etc. If you "screw up" (as you put it), theres no reason you cant ease up on your journey and slow down. You can do this, look how far you have come already!

| Don't be afraid of OWL, I've done so much better on OWL than I did on induction. Take baby steps, move onto the veggie rung. Your body will thank you for it, and your reward just may be a big loss on the scale at the end of the first week!! You can stay on the veggie rung as long as you like. But, if you do well, then you can go ahead and move onto the other rungs. Good luck!!!!

| Hi! Just checking in with you to see how you are doing on OWL? I'm on Rung Two - Dairy. So far; so good! I found out that there are certain dairy products I can eat and some that I cannot. So, it has been a good thing so far. I also joined the cheat-free challenge and that has helped tremendously. Let me know how you are doing when you get time. Best wishes!!
