All the veggies have different net carbs per cup. While you still eat the Induction 3 cups daily, the OWL amount is 5 net carbs. So you want to eat the 5 net carb amount. If you have fitday or another carb counter, like the USDA website, you can play with the amount of the food. See what the net carb of x cups of that food would be and eat that. Eating the higher carb veggies are ideal because you eat a smaller volume (as our bodies get smaller and our appetites get smaller, eating a 6 cup lettuce or spinach salad might be physically impossible) of the veg. The other thing is to make sauces of these veggies. If you like tomato sauce, you can have 5 net carbs of that on your 1 cup of spaghetti squash. If you want to have a 5 net carbs of a nice creamy vegetable soup for lunch along with a 2 cup salad, go for it. If you want to have a nice stirfry, go ahead.
