Hi gdezi, have you read the book yet? It really does help understand and good for reference.

Yes. Btw I purchased my book for 2 dollars at a used book store. I know others on here that purchased on Amazon for not much more (as used). It is a very good read.

Hi everyone. I am wanting to move on to owl, after 6 weeks of induction, but I think I have goofed up. My weightloss stalled because I have been having some overindulgences on sugarfree candy, splenda, a handful of nuts sometimes, and cream. I also have had a couple alcohol beverages during the week. (a couple glasses of wine a couple days a week). I know, its terrible. Do you think that I should start induction over again before moving to owl? I have been doing great with induction foods and rules, until this last week. Also, one more thing. I am an avid weight lifter and I really rely on my whey protein for my post workout recovery drink. Is this something I should stop. The protein powder has zero carb count, and no artificial sweetners.
Thanks
Jami

It depends, but at least a week. I spent only a week on the alcohol rung. But I also had rungs on which I spent a few months.

You start by adding foods from OWL Rung 1.

Quote:
and how much really
5 net carbs. An exception is OWL Rung 3; nuts and seeds are added in 1-ounce amounts (1/2 oz for cashews).

>>how long should you stay on each rung for>>

There isn't a specific time frame.

>>ive ben at 102kg for just over a week now>>

This has been addressed in your other topic.

>>o not sure what i should start adding and how much really im taking in>>

The carb ladder is in your book ... you said you've read the book ... did you not find the chapter on how to do OWL? (Chapter 14)

And ... you said in your other topic you were taking in 20 carbs. Either you know how much you're eating or you don't know!
