| Both ways are valid - and we have members who have done it either way with success. Sometimes it is hard to know if your weightloss stops whether it was the extra 5 net carbs or the new food doing it, so many add either 5 net carbs or a new food but sticking to the same number of net carbs as the previous week, then maybe adding 5 net carbs more the next week.
