| I'm here too... also Rung 1 (obviously, as we're doing it together, lol). First day went pretty good, added a new food (pumpkin), but somehow lost track along the way and still only managed to consume 20 carbs... so the new food was a go, but the new carb count (25) was not. Better luck tomorrow! =) |

| Since I'm already here, I'll start What OWL rung are you on? OWL Rung 1 - Veggies How are you doing? Any major accomplishments? Any setbacks? Today was okay, I think, though I didn't quite hit the marker for getting the 5 extra carbs. I did however introduce a new food in the form of Pumpkin (yum!) I'm hoping to be able to plan out tomorrow better so I get the full 25 carbs and plenty of veg. What are your plans for the rest of the Summer? Staying on plan, on target, and getting more exercise! I've got a vaca coming up in a couple of weeks and it would be great to shed a few more inches by then! I'll be measuring my inches to see how I did on my 3-week induction tomorrow, so we'll see how it's going |

| Good idea Sassy. A coming together of OWLers is a good idea. There is certainly lots we can learn from each other while climbing as well. What OWL rung are you on? OWL Rung 6 - legumes How are you doing? Any major accomplishments? Any setbacks? Pretty good I think. I am losing slow so it is hard to figure out what is going on with carbs and food tolerances. Beans have been tricky. So little adds up to so much so I am working on measuring them out correctly. This week I am doing chick peas - made hummus out of them so I had some for lunch. If this goes well I'll do soy flower next week What are your plans for the rest of the Summer? Summer sure has its challenges. Heat makes it harder to cook and then there are all the activities that seems to include food. Not to mention the special summer treats - in form of drinks and ice creams. It is also hot to exercise sometimes. I am just trying to keep to the plan. I have a bit of holiday coming up in August so right now I am thinking about how to plan it out so I stay legal. I already went off plan earlier in the spring when I visited family abroad and I don't want do that again.

| Hi there! What OWL rung are you on? OWL Rung 3 - Nuts and Seeds How are you doing? Any major accomplishments? Any setbacks? I'm doing ok. Its hard trying to do OWL and find your CCLL at the same time and do it properly but I'm hanging in there. What are your plans for the rest of the Summer? I'm hoping to go up to Cape Cod with my boyfriend and some friends in mid-August. Other than that I just want to try and enjoy myself as much as I can.

| Gosh, what a great idea! Thanks for staring this one...I could use a little more accountability as I move up the rungs. Who's here? What OWL rung are you on? I'm here How are you doing? Any major accomplishments? Any setbacks? I think I'm doing okay. I've lost 10 pounds since June---4 in June and 6 in July. I can't think of any set backs right now. I know that I was thankful when I had the last of my pecans---I could see myself getting a little to in love with those! What are your plans for the rest of the Summer? Since I only have 2 weeks left of my summer break, I'll focus on getting my exercise time changed to the afternoon, jogging at least 2 1/2 mies at one time, attempting to move up to the berries rung (marion and black berries are coming to the local markets!!!), and just staying focused. Oh, and hopefully lose a few more pounds---there's always hope!

| Wow, I step away from the board for two days and look at all the replies, LOL! Nice to meet you all I'm stlll on RUNG 1, but just hit a stumbling block. I badly injured my foot/ankle on my birthday this past Wednesday and can barely get around. Mostly sitting with my foot propped up or hobbling about on crutches (which definitely works the Upper body!), but unfortunately means the shiny new excercise routine I started last Monday has taken a back seat to my purple, puffy foot Other than that I'm eating on plan, added Acetyl Carnitine and Co-Q10 to my supplements, and I'm hoping to pick up some Keto sticks tomorrow so I can make sure that a lack of ketosis isn't holding up my weightloss! It really helped me to have these last time around |

| I just started rung 2 on OWL. So far, I've only added cottage cheese to my induction foods, so I'm going at it pretty slowly. I started Atkins on July 5th, and since then I've lost 9 lbs. I'm pretty happy with that and consider it an accomplishment, figuring that in the past couple of years I haven't stayed on any weight loss plan for more than a couple of weeks. My only obstacle is that I'm getting bored with the food choices, which sounds odd considering all the choices there are. I'm hoping to move up through the rungs and be at rung 4 by the end of the month. I figure if I can add dairy, nuts, and berries back in I'll at least have some variety. My plan for the rest of the summer is the 6WEC. I hurt my foot and haven't been able to walk lately, so I'm hoping the challenge will inspire me.
