| Well, you really should read the book, because you'll understand exactly why Dr. Atkins tells us to do things and that will help you in your diet. As for high fat....Atkins is a high fat diet. Fat remains the staple throughout the weight loss phases and during Maintenance phase it still comprises about 50% of the daily calories.

| Jennifer, OWL and Pre-Maintenance menues are very individualized because those stages are the ones where we may eat more than 20 net carbs daily (if our metabolism allows us to) and where we eat different foods, like fruits, berries/melons, legumes, starchy veggies, nuts and grains. So giving you a sample of my daily menues doesn't really help you out much because what might be appropriate for my body, isn't necessarily appropriate for yours. When you read the book, you'll understand what I've said better. As Elizellen said, what phase are you in?

| To confirm, please read the book before doing this diet! There is no way you can be as successful on Atkins without reading the book. There are so many misconceptions out there. Buy it today!
