| I really like Hood Calorie Countdown milk. I get the chocolate kind, but my mother-in-law gets the regular kind and really likes it. Here's the link if you want more info. I think others drink regular, full-fat milk. |

| Schucks, I didn't notice you are in the UK. You'll probably just need to go for the regular, full-fat milk. |

| Be aware that you can only have five carbs of milk at a time. I think that is about 1/2 cup (hundred and some milliliter). I rarely have milk. But use it in some cooking. I eat yogurt though.

| Thank you everyone for your help. I've been to the shops and am getting excited about being able to try a new food group next week and have a couple of more questions please. As I am in the Uk and they are UK products this question might be more suitable for one of the UK atkiners please but any help would be great. I have bought yougurt and cottage cheese today but couldn't get low carb so settled for: soya alpro yog which has 2.8 carb and 2.3 sugars per 100g Total Yogurt which has 3.2 carb doesn't mention sugars! per 100g Cottage Cheese tesco own make carbs 4.5 and sugars 2.5 per 100g do these sound ok to you. Am I only allowed to try one of these 3 times a week then have to try the next one the next week or can I have yogurt one day and then skip a day and have the cottage cheese? Also do I then go upto 30 carbs that week or can i still go onto the next rungs and stay at 25 carbs to you always need to increase as i think my ccl is going to be rather low as only lost 4lb on induction. Thanks Ally |

| Milks will have natural sugars in them - that is the lactose stuff and we have to watch portions on OWL as carbs quicky add up. So look for sugars on the ingredient list. You want to buy product without ADDED sugar. Does the soya yogurt contain soy? Soy (except tofu) is rung 6 stuff.

| All those carbs you mentioned are net carbs. Diary does not have dietary fiber (unless you use soy substitutes, but as Liv said, with the exception of tofu, that's only allowed in OWL Rung 6). Total Yogurt (that FAGE Total, right?) is the lowest in carbs I can find as well. I never saw a lower one in Europe or in the US. The cottage cheese sounds good, too. Quote:
