Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again. |

| What did you add? Also, it's a good idea to take the blood sugar instability test in the book. It's a faster indicator of a food's effect on you than weighing and measuring yourself. Speaking of measuring.....what did your measurements do? There were times when I would "gain" a pound but I would lose an inch.

| Hi Rajenki, I had a similar situation on beginning OWL rung 1. Apparently a 'stall' is quite common in weeks 3 - 6, after induction. I personally chose to stay on the first rung of OWL and to only go up to dairy when I was losing again. I'm sure you'll soon get some input from others, but if you would like to read the thread, and the advice I received here it is http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ce-please.html (Would like some advice please...) You might also want to take a look at this one http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...body-type.html (Not Losing? Maybe you are a "Wait and Whoosh" body type) Just to say that I have started losing again - 4 pounds in the last 2 weeks, and I am so glad that I stuck with it - so hang on in there - you will be really pleased that you did when the scales start moving again. Also - have you measured yourself - sometimes measurements can go down, even when the scales don't. CP |

| I haven't measured because I didn't take my "initial measurements" until week 2...so I didn't think there would be a significant difference in week 3. Clothes don't really feel different, but they were so tight before, I might not notice for a while. I really only increased the veggies I was already eating...only new things I had were celery two days and spaghetti squash last night. I was on my TOM last week...but truly expected to see a huge drop in weight midway through that (as is the norm for my TOM water gain). I also skipped a day of water pills I think on friday...but I stayed in bed with an illness all weekend and took my pills like I should, so that should be normalized by now too. My ankles look pretty normal. Because of all these variables...and cuz I like tracking the scale, I weighed in daily. I gained 3 pounds the day after I forgot my water pill...2.5 of those are gone. CP...those posts are so helpful. Thanks! I actually "know" all this stuff...but sometimes you need to hear/read it again...especially when you didn't think it would happen to you. My body was far more cooperative when I was only 20-something and not handicapped...I guess that's no basis for comparison, huh? *snicker*
