Default OWL Rung 2!

Hi there everyone! On Thursday,it will be my 7th Week, i think.
I will be finishing my second Week of OWL Rung 1,i have not weighed myself in two weeks since starting Rung 1 so i weigh on Thursday
.
Don't know why i feel like this, i feel a little worried to move up another rung, but i am writing down every carb and every food i eat.
I am going to take the plunge and start Rung 2 on Thursday though, anybody got any advice about Rung 2 or Rungs in general.Last time i did Atkins,i never got this far;i never did it properly.

Just wanted to share, although i never weighed, i tried on the exact pair of size 12 jeans i tried on 6months ago that didn't even tie and glued to my legs;now slack on stomach and loose on leg...i was exstatic, bought them lol. What a feeling i can tell you.

Thanks again
Danielle

Hi Danielle. Congratulations on the loose size 12's! What a great feeling that is!!!

And about rung 2, I was so looking forward to eating things like Cottage Cheese and Ricotta cheese, but after I tasted them again, I didn't even want them anymore! So I sort of skipped that rung after the first day and went on to rung 3, nuts and seeds. And that's the rung that gives me the most trouble because it is so easy to overeat on it. Peanut butter has always been my downfall. The only thing I eat now on that rung is flaxseed in muffins.

Have you read the stickies in the Atkins Phases forum? They will help you alot.

My advice about rungs would be - take your time on them. Explore the different foods and really take time to know how you react to them.
My reaction to Rung 2 is almost the opposite of Nyna's. I love that rung. I like to eat yogurt and cottage cheese. I like to use cream or milk in cooking. I do some whey powder and I love cheese cake. So I am glad I learned about the amounts when I did the rung and I am fairly confident now about how much I can eat of these things.

Thanks Liv and Blueberry Lady,it's good to get advice from others already on/been on OWL.
I am moving onto OWL Rung 2 on Thursday, looking forward to it. Going to try diffrent cheeses, i am bit worried i might put on weight, think thats because i am used to doing Low fat. Only one way to find out though. I will also read all posts and stickies too.

Thanks for your replies, really don't know what i would do without this Board( Like a big family all going through the same thing).

Danielle
