| You're supposed to do one new food at the time so that if you run into an issue you have a clearer idea what food my be a problem. Did you up your carbs as you added nuts as well? Are you close to your period? Any other stressy things happening that may make you hold on to water right now? Sorry for all the questions but there are many factors to consider before you jump to the conclusion that nuts indeed are an issue.

I am also avoiding eggs and so far my stomach has been doing great, plus I am actually feeling hungry and not nauseous.

| So I think what I would do in your situation would be to see if after a week things leveled out (pounds gone again?) If not I would temporarily remove nuts but keep eating 30 carbs for the next week to see if your body is still fine with that much carbs. Once you have figured out if you can still lose with 30 carbs try almonds again, if you get the same result you know almonds are an issue for you. You're lucky with the peanut butter then. Keep it that way. I am somewhat obsessed with the stuff.

| Did you have salted or unsalted almonds? If you had the salted kind, you may want to try unsalted once you figure out if 30 g net carbs are okay for you.

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
