| Could you post a few of your menus? And did you check with your doctor to see if you are deficient in any vitamins/minerals? Did you test for Candida? Any thyroid issues you know of?

| It's hard to say anything without knowing quantities, but do you know how much you are eating? How many carbs, calories, fat, etc.? You've posted in the OWL forum, so I assume you are in OWL despite of what your profile says. Your menus seem to be low in veggies, given that on OWL Rung 1 you should be adding more vegetables to your diet. What foods did you add back since leaving Induction?

| My suggestion would also be to run this through fitday and see what numbers you end up with. It is not looking bad but it needs to go through a counter and lets see what you end up with. The cheese from burger king - maybe you should try to avoid it. Do you get any sauce or mustard of ketchup as well? So is swede turnip or rutabaga? How much of the nandos chicken do you eat? You are not getting your salad veggies in at all. Do you take any supplements? What are you drinking? Any medication? I am not trying to criticize. Just think we should be about to figure this out. |

| Hijack: Liv, I obviously have a problem with swede... So how are things going, Sara? Are you still around?

| Hi Georgiana and Liv, I drink diet coke and diet redbull and sprite zero, i do have ketchup but very little and count it towards the carbs im allowed...Im on rung one as when i try moving up the rungs i gain weight... i got to the nuts and seeds rung and gained 7lbs so i went back to induction and moved to rung 1 ( increasing veggies).. it may seem i am not eating enough veg but i eat the required amount.. as for swede uhmm i think maybe its a turnip lol im not entirely sure to be honest i dont take suplements, perhaps the odd vit c.. and about nandos chicken ill eat a chicken leg and chicken breast and it can be 2-3 times a month something like that.. its so frustrating not to be loosing for so long.. thanks xx |

| Ummm... so, basically all you wrote above could stall your weight loss. Let's see... These diet drinks are sweetened with aspartame, which often stalls people. Quote:

| Something else about the ketchup (and any other food that you eat out). You say "very little". It's impossible to measure exactly how much ketchup you are eating. The BK burgers have about 3.8 net carbs from the ketchup alone. Even if you eat only part of this, it's something you cannot properly measure. It's not like in cured bacon, which probably has something like 0.1 g per slice or mayo---3.8 g of sugar can do significantly more damage.

| My advice would be to "go back to basics" Be very strict with what you eat. Make sure it is legal. Cut out all sugar and artificial sugar for a bit. Stop eating things you are not sure about. Measure - and count carbs strictly. Drink only water for that bit while you get yourself back into losing mode.
