| if i ate nuts i would stall or gain weight if i ate berries i would stall or gain weight if i ate super high protein i may have stalled a little i had to stay at Rung 2 tops and like 18-30 net carbs in order to lose my 100 pounds of fat its normal for people to reach there CCLL at a low Rung like Rung 2 but after you have lost alot of weight and reached a goal weight then try doing lots of exercise and full body work outs i have been 230 pounds since going to the gym but must have lost another 40 pounds of fat and gained 40 pounds of muscle so since going to the gym my total fat loss is 140 pounds you could try Rung 4 berries you may have better luck if it doesnt work then just stick to Rung 1-2 |

| Danielle, Many folks suggest that when you plan to move rungs, you first move the carbs up five grams for a couple of weeks. That way, if you stop losing you know it is the CCLL. If you still lose, and then stop when you add new foods, you know it is the food that is the problem not the carb level. Does that make it easier?

| Thanks for your replies, you know ithinkigoingto be one of them people that weight goesup when i go past Rung1/2. However i do think i reached my CCLL..kind of disappointed it only 30g carbs though,i am going to stay at this for another week, then follwing week up it another 5g just to be sure. Then if i have met it i will start to creep up the rungs. Do you think that be ok? I shouldnt really say this but i am 4lbs under my original goal weight,i only have another 3lbs to go to goal and not even got through all rungs. It is weird cos i still feel fat, although not as fat as wheni started. You know even if i never lost a singlepound i would stick with this WOE,i have never felt better in my life. Thanks Danielle |

| Well done so far, Dannielle ![]() If you have reached your CCLL you cna always try moving up the carb ladder food groups by swapping them out instead of adding 5 net carbs. So when you want to try berries drop the extra dairy and see how you go, and for adding legumes, drop the berries and dairy and try them out. Some people who feel they have a low CCLL have managed to test all the OWL foods they want to by doing it this way while keeping their net carbs down to between 30 and 40.

| Thanks for that tip Elizellen! I had thought of that option..think its going to come to that now. So will stay at 30g another week, then up to 35g see if still losing. If not losing i will do what you suggested. Thanks once agian Danielle |
