Default specialty low carb bake mixes?

I have found many mixes for brownies, pancakes, cookies.. etc... all of which a serving contains less than 5 net carbs.. I am a little confused because I can't find anywhere in the book that it explains when these things are acceptable to be eaten. I was just hoping that so long as I was under my carb limit for the day, that eating these things in moderation would be okay?

Most of them won't be allowed until Rung 9. You can tell by checking what rung the ingredients are in (wheat flour, soy, etc).

You are on induction -- the only foods you should be eating at this time are here:

What foods can be eaten on Induction? [Elleth Faewen]

http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)

3. What are the Rules of Induction? [Elleth Faewen]

As Julie said once you get to Rung 9 you can add back these mixes. Almond flour can be used on Rung 3 (Nuts) but like everything else, within the amounts allowed.

I agree with everyone else.

You need to look at the ingredients of these bake mixes (or any food for that matter) and see if it is allowed at your Phase of the diet.

Don't get confused about the "extended Induction" here on ADBB. All extended Induction means is that you are following the Induction Phase---abiding by the Rules and the Acceptable Foods List---longer than the initial 14 days. If you start eating more than 20 net carbs daily and/or start eating non-Induction Acceptable Foods List foods, you aren't doing "extended Induction".
