I started eating 2 tbs of natural peanut butter (no added sugar/salt), and my friend brought home some whole wheat tortillas with only 10 g net carbs per burrito, so I started eating half of one of those.
I have gained 2 lbs in two days. Is it because I jumped from the nuts and seeds rung up to grains, or am I eating the wrong whole grain? I am tempted to go back to 20 carbs a day again so that I can lose. I hate gaining!
Thanks guys | This is the problem when you change a lot of things at once: you don't know which of them affected you. It could be one or all.
What you need is not to go back to 20 carbs a day, but to remove from your diet the foods that are not allowed on your current OWL Rung and start counting carbs again. That should get you back on track.
Unless you went on a major binge, you didn't gain 2 lbs of fat in two days. What probably happened is that you are retaining water due to an intolerance to the ingredients in tortilla. Wheat is a problem food for some.

Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
