You don't need to eat more cheese. Just substitute aged cheese with fresh cheese, yogurt, milk, etc. Quote:

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | I guess I don't believe my body will react negatively (even though I still am not quite sure what this means) to the foods that I want to eat. I've eaten them in abundance in the past and been leaner and healthy and really, just downright VIBRANT. I don't think I'm capable of taking 5 weeks introducing foods i.e. cabbage, turnips and pumpkin. That's too long hahh I guess I'm just thinking I should be doing lean protein (bought canadian bacon instead of regular bacon today- how does one cook candian bacon hahha) and I should be eating the largest variety (and portions) of salad & cooked vegetables, plus fruits. I think these vegetables and fruits should make up the largest percentage of what I'm taking in. I ran a couple of sample menus through Fitday and believe for me the optimum breakout might be 45% fat, 25% carbs and 30% protein, which is just a little different I guess hhha Interesting topic by the way, I'm downright FASCINATED hhah I've had some health problems that seem to get relief from a lot of raw foods in my diet. Inflammation and auto-immune "issues" which is a huge part of my reason for wanting to be FIT. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE believer (and lover) of meat (and seafood etc) and conceptually and totally on board with the concept of the most natural WOE possible. Thanks for your inputs.

Pete, I have to go with G on the non-fat yogurt. I also eat the plain, nothing added yogurt but have you tried the full-fat versions or even Greek yogurt such as FAGE? I think you will be instantly enamored.

| >>I can't do that week by week "add a food".>> You "can" ... you're just choosing not to. Big difference! >>AND get my carbs up past 100 over the next couple of weeks (through vegetables/fruit in bigger quanity).>> What's the hurry? This isn't a race you know.

There's nothing wrong with eating lean meat on Atkins, but you will need to eat added fat to make up for the leanness of the meat. So adding fats like olive oil is ideal.
