| It would be really helpful if you would post exactly what you're eating ... with quantities and net carbs. Are you using Fitday to track your eating? How much water are you drinking?

| What J. asked. Also, when we gain weight in OWL (real weight gain, not weight fluctuations), we do not go back to Induction. What we normally do is take one step back, i.e. either lower our carbs by 5 net carbs or eliminate (temporarily) the last food we added back into our diet.

| You should also give the net carbs of each of your foods. How large are your glasses of water? Are you getting around 100 ounces or more? You're not really eating enough vegetables for Rung 3 of OWL ... you should always be increasing your vegetables. Your vegetables are almost at Induction level.

| I have very short advice for you. Don't weigh yourself for another two weeks. Throw out the scale if you need to. Also, you need some cardio. Do you have any cardio workout videos? Turbo Jam, Tae Bo .. something that isn't going to bore you to death as well. Once you've accomplished these two goals of not weighing yourself and doing cardio for two weeks, then weigh yourself and tell us how you feel. Exercise is non-negotiable. Also any type of resistance training is going to build muscle. That could be contributing to your weight gain as well. Don't sweat it, but you DO need CARDIO. Get to it, soldier! |

| The diet I posted is for induction because I have gone back to induction since the weight gain. |

| >>The diet I posted is for induction because I have gone back to induction since the weight gain.>> That's not how Atkins works though ... as Georgiana pointed out. You would only go back 5 net carbs ... however, you're not really eating at Induction levels (if Induction is 20 net carbs) now ... so it's POSSIBLE that this weight bounce is your body going in to famine mode ... your body is hanging on to everything you give it. I suspect that going "backwards" will be counter-productive for you. Eating more might actually be what you need. How many calories are you getting?

| It think the point with asking for the menu was to see it there was something going on with the menu you were on. I have been on OWL a long time and if I jumped back to induction everytime the scale fluctuated I would never be out of induction (And since I hate induction I would probably have given up. You were on a tricky rung OWL 3 - did you add something new? |
