Mexi-Ranch Dressing (Work In Progress) | | | I'm trying to replicate the dressing used at my favourite restaurant, Hard Times Cafe. This is a work in progress but so far has turned out pretty good. It's also a nice varation on ranch dressing, and I think it would be pretty good on chicken. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp. heavy cream
4 tsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. dried dill weed (the dill I've used was way overpowering, be careful!)
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garic powder
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
I love cumin, so mine has a ton. Mix this up and put this in the refrigerator for a few hours to let the flavours come out. This is actually very important--it will taste quite a bit different after some fridge time. | | |
