If you eat a lot of flax (like, for example, 1/4 cup, as in a 1-minute muffin), then you might experience some water weight gain, because of the soluble fiber in flax. In any case, you are only allowed to play with flax as a food in OWL, when you can try adding it back in 1-oz amounts (the limit for nuts and seeds), every other day.
