Default Creme of flaxseed. (creme of wheat)

I have never used flaxseed ofr anythign until today. I went to get some probitics wich I have started taking already and had my first dose of ground flaxseed. MMMMMMMMMMM Anyway.... so here I go... The directions say to take 2-3 TBSP a day so ...it already ha a nice nutty flavr to it tought well maybe this would be good with creme and splenda....

2 TBSP ground flaxseed
2TBSP creme
1 TBSP water
1 packet of splenda
1 small pat of butter

1) Mix the flaxseed, and splenda together to get it together really well
2) add the creme and water adstir until all is moist.
3) put in microwave for 30 econds
4) add pat of butter.

OMG this is the BEST FREAKING FIBER dosageI have ever taken. It was good, would work well for a breakfast side and what can I say, again IT IS JUST GOOD. Really reminded me of creme of wheat but it was actually better.

I eat something similar to the above recipe, except I cook it with butter mixed in and then chill it, and add cream.

Yes, it will unbind you, thoroughly!

Buy whole seeds is best, from health food store or even regular grocery. Bob's Red Mill is a common brand. We have it in regular stores, not too far from oatmeal, etc. Grind in a 10 dollar coffee grinder. You can buy it already ground, but make sure to freeze it, it is a fresh, whole product and the oil in the flax will make it go rancid.

Here is the site and a pic so you can see what you are looking for.

I just got some from walmart today. Make sure it's already ground and it says to store in the fridge.

Oh I can't wait to try this! I really miss Cream of Wheat and maltomeal. And wow does the flax really help your system work! I have been eating muffin in a minute everyother day and feel so much better this week. Before atkins I was used to 2-3 movements per day and before I added the flax in I was barely having one/day. thanks for the awesome sounding recipee

You might want to try adding some over the counter colace tabs 1-2 per day for a couple days. They help your colon to absorb more water which helps to push the flax through your system more quickly. the generic name is docusate sodium. your pharmacist can help you find them... they work for me. i take 1 everynight before I go to bed... I did this even before atkins.

Flax doesnt help me go either, maybe i will try the docusate sodium. The flaxmeal "cream of wheat" is yummy. I make mine with more water and i dont use cream. I use about 1 tbsp flax and enough butter and water to make close to a cup (i dont like it gooey) and then i add splenda and cinnamon. I could eat that everyday and be happy.
